I am afraid I cannot make it to the Alumni meet if they plan to hold it there at Hamirpur.

I had gone a few weeks back, met some teachers and some first year jangus, who are now in Final year.

Campus is drastically changed. New hostels, new departments so many things.

But, yes, it is still lovely and green, as it always used to be!

yeah, i bought it, but how many brands or models really give this freedom to the customers? Moreover, that model is no more in the market.

And yes, its definitely the company’s choice. From the business perspective this is absolutely rational. But, i believe, at least in some scenarios, where providing little choices to the customers is ‘possible’, should be taken care of rather forcing the customers to buy stuff, ( knowing that anyway the poor customer needs it, so whatever I put the condition they’ll come to purchase it ).

Anyways, the point is its business, and you look for the profit.

I thought u DID buy ur laptop without an OS.

Eitherway, its the company’s choice to sell their laptop the way they deem appropriate. Eg: I will sell u my pair of shoes only if u buy my shorts too.. If u like the deal take it if u dont leave it..
Also, a more appropriate analogy would be .. With the shoe you get the lace NO option there..

I know. Can’t we start some campaign against this. I mean, in Europe and US, DELL is forced to give out the customer choice between OS/No OS. Why can’t it be forced in India.
