In the quest of a little pleasure, relaxation and fun, people have learnt to satisfy themselves withcheap stuff considering them as heavenly!
Thats what i realised when a guy, (from Delhi, visited Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Pune, Kerala and many places of Karnatka), designates a bullshit place as ‘equivalent to hill station’.
And he was not alone. To my surprise, I found people REALLY enjoying that resort (so called). It was the time, when I felt like Holden of Catcher in the Rye who saw the world full of phonies and fakeness. Archery, Bicycle riding, Vollyball, Cricket! Goodness, I did not find a single thing that was even near to ‘enjoyble’. Still I see people praising the same and enjoying it with good amount of craze!
Is it that they havent seen any better place than this ? Definitely not, cause I personally know many of them who have travelled many places in India and abroad. Then is it because they enjoy everything let it be a fake and cheap stuff. Thats above my understanding. Or is it the problem with me that I see them as bullshit crap and not able to derive pleasure from them ? In this case, I am happy that I am not a phony.
