When you love something you probably wont notice the flaws/negatives of the same. This can be applied to die-hard UNIX fanatics also. This book that I found a few days ago points out some of such things that someone would like to hate about UNIX. It contains lots of excerpts from the UNIX-Haters mailing list and an Anti-Foreword from Dennis Ritchie.
Though it aims to change the reader’s mind and turn it against UNIX, it quite failed to do so for me. Moreover, I don’t use UNIX, because GNU is not UNIX.
I think it’ll not be a waste for anyone using UNIX or interested in UNIX like systems to spend sometime with this book.
